In spite of a common opinion that everything is better learned while you’re young - learning to play piano is actually a good idea at literally any age. The only advantage younger learners may have is that they could consider it as their potential career (you would really need to start at as young as 4 for that ideally). My experience in teaching adult students allows me to say the following with confidence - there are no limits otherwise!
Learning to play any music instrument is very similar to learning a new language. So if you ever had to do that - you now have a very good idea about what the process is going to be like. If not - why not challenge yourself? Besides, playing piano has lots of other benefits, even including some health ones - learning rhythm and notation will most certainly keep your brain active, and using your fingers will keep your fine motor skills in shape, which is scientifically proven to be good for your heart.
So if you ever wanted to try that as a hobby or always wanted to have a better understanding of how music works, or have been playing piano for years and would like some advice and inspiration - I will be proud to share everything I know.
