I received my piano teacher and performer degree in 2019 at one of the most prominent musical institutions in the world, which is Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire. By now teaching has already become second nature to me - this is what I always wanted to do, and having started teaching at the age of 18 now allows me to say that I have already got more than a decade of experience.
Upon relocating to London in 2021 I continued providing piano lessons using all my unique methodology I had created over the years, which is based on my teachers’ expertise as well as on my own, and it proved itself to work regardless of students’ age and background.

Based on a set of comprehensive exercises passed through generations, this approach allows learners to understand the basics of rhythm, notation, articulation and most common types of techniques within an impressively short period of time - from scratch.
Everyone is different, and so is my approach - learning to play one of the most complex music instruments can be challenging at times. The good news is that there is no limit to what you can learn - some things may just take more time. So the more comfortable you are around your teacher and the piano - the more ready you are to be patient and persevere!
I strongly believe that simply admitting that there is always room for improvement can get you very far - regardless of your role in the process. This is why I keep my skills in shape by regularly practising and expanding my knowledge of music also by reading and listening. All the things I would encourage my students to do - I do myself!
